On Monday, December 21, 2020, at approximately 9:45 a.m., a Brighton resident was robbed at gunpoint. The victim was unloading groceries from his vehicle in his apartment complex’s parking lot in the 100 block of S. Miller Ave. When two adult males approached him, one of the males produced a handgun and demanded the victim’s vehicle.

The suspect with the firearm was described as a white male, approximately 6’2″, 200 lbs. wearing blue jeans, a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored ball cap, and a blue face covering. The second suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’8″. Unknown clothing description.

The suspects took the victim’s vehicle, a maroon 2019 Dodge Challenger with Colorado License Plate ODC-634. The vehicle is modified to accommodate the victim, who is paraplegic. The victim was in a wheelchair at the time of the armed robbery.

The vehicle was last spotted in the area of I-76 and Zuni. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Brighton Police at (303) 288-1535.
